Whale Watching, Juneau, Alaska

The cruise liner docked at Juneau and this gave us an opportunity to visit this small town. One of the activities that you can do is to join a whale watching cruise.

Start of the Journey

The tour guide called himself naturalist and gives a lengthy explanation about the habitat of whale.
Sea- lions ?
This is the bonus point of interest.
The naturalist still continues delivering his lecture on whale.

Can you see a small horizontal black line - that is the dorsal fin of whale -
or take a look at the video captured by me

This video clip is hard to come by as I have to wait nearly 45 minutes on a constant look out for the whale to surface. You just don't know when and where the whale will surface to pose for your camera.
End of the journey

2008-08-30 Prelude to Alaska Cruise

I have emailed several times to NCL, asking for complimentary wifi access. However, they have balked at my request. The boarding time is 1600, so this blog might experience staccato posting, pending on the available aid of fellow-travellers. Just joking.
