This was my very first ATM card ( Sumitomo Cash Card ), issued by Sumitomo Bank, Tokyo, Japan. The good thing about this card was that it did not impose extra commission for cash withdrawal from other parts of Japan.

Again, correct me if I am wrong. The Banking Industry in Malaysia had not implemented the use of ATM at that time.
