Summer Palace - Alaska Cruise - Norwegian Pearl

Summer Palace
Deck 7, Mid Ship

Don't feel despaired if you are a paid passenger and not selected for VIP treatment, NCL does provide a restaurant which is quite equivalent to Cadney's, to wit, Summer Palace. Reservation is required. They serve lobster on Tuesday and Friday. Naturally, we were present on these two nights.

Soup
Crispy-fried Shrimp Won Tons
Mandarin Plum Sauce
Tandoori Chicken
Basmati Rice, Indian Fried Brad, Chutney

Another view of Tandoori Chicken

Frozen Peach Yogurt
We love this waffle so much that we were g iven extra sets by the maître d'.

Menu for Tuesday ?

maître d' from Philippine

Real lobster - but only half

maître d' from Rumania

Rich selection of teas

There are many reasons why some photos were not given any caption, the plausible reasons are :
1. I have forgotten what is the name of the dish.
2. The picture itself is self explanatory.
3. No idea ( maybe the reader can help)
4. For visual effect only or a cosmetic job.
5. ..........................

I got sick on my honeymoon cruise. My husband and I both got sick and we had to go down to the ship infirmary. They gave us each a shot to stop the vomiting, a shot to make us sleep and some saline solution. Then they charged us $1600 for that. There are few things more miserable than being sick on a ship in the middle of a vacation.
